FAQ
A straightforward refit of an average-sized bathroom often takes around one to two weeks. Larger projects, wet rooms and jobs where the layout changes can take longer. The trades who quote will give you a timeline for your job.
Internal bathroom work does not normally need planning permission, but changes to drainage, structure or electrics may be covered by Building Regulations, and listed buildings have extra rules. Ask the trades quoting about this, and check with your local council if you are unsure.
Often yes. Some homeowners buy their own suite and tiles, while others ask the trade to supply everything. Say which you prefer in your project post so quotes are comparable, and agree who is responsible if an item arrives damaged or late.
Many bathroom specialists cover plumbing and tiling, and some work with electricians for lighting, extractor fans and heated mirrors. Mention what you need in your post, and ask who is qualified to carry out any electrical work so it meets UK safety standards.

Yes. Posting a project and receiving quotes is free, and you are under no obligation to hire anyone.
